So, a while ago I posted about trying to put together an outfit for a fun concert featuring Jimmie Vaughn and the Tilt a Whirl Band. Not exactly the place for my classic style LBD and pointy toe pumps.
I figured my baby boot-cuts and leather jacket from my closet, and decided to shop for a statement t or something with a little bling, and a clutch style bag.
Life got hectic, and I only managed two unsuccessful but interesting shopping trips. Auditioned some clutches, and though I did not initially find one, knew the style would work for me. Tried on some interesting T's but couldn't find one I liked that fit right.
A 3rd and very last minute shopping trip (desperation was setting in) yielded a yummy navy leather clutch with a thin leather strap that converts to over shoulder. Also, found a cool black and white John Lennon T that would have been perfect, except being a George Harrison girl I couldn't do it! In the end, I wore a silly ivory T with flowers and bicycles on it. A high humidity day resulted in a near Afro.
So, in an attempt at honesty, below is my failed rocker chic outfit! Laughter, advice, and comments welcomed.
