I did go for a walk - YouLookFab Forum

Today. I walked in the morning before I got distracted. 32 minutes around the block with 2 flat cul de sacs.

Gray Joe's have gotten a bit tight in the waist. A different purple sweater, the Boden, scarf, earrings from Na Hoku several years ago. They are gold but the diamond effect is carved in white gold. Also what I'm going to call my O'Hare pendant. I'll look later and see if I can find the name of the store.

Just ready to go in #3--not really so sleepy as I look. Ready in #4. No need for a hat this morning.

Surprise look--I ended up at the steep corner of my lot and behold, the roses are blooming away. This area is so steep and difficult to deal with that I seldom take a good look. The deer don't eat these.

All around the "block" I see beautiful white roses in full bloom, none of them chewed on. I guess the deer pick ours because it's on the corner and easy to get to and then slip away.

You look great for your walk, and those roses are amazing. My wild yellow roses in our back yard are nearly at their peak bloom. The thorns are so wicked that NOTHING bothers them!

slim cat, a quick look at a bigger area of the scarf. I can fold it different ways depending on the color to be seen. And it keeps the sun off the back of my neck.

That is a great scarf to have. You have a nice area to walk. The rose bush is amazing. What I have seen getting chewed up are hostas. Strangely we don’t see deer but I suspect rabbits for this damage. We are more likely to see bears or elk than deer. Mountain lions are also not uncommon.

Love those jeans! You look sharp for a walk — I did a 5 mile hike today but in ollllld Zella pants and a Lululemon top with trail shoes, LOL.

Joy, deer LOVE hostas. They’re like candy. Our yard looks pathetic once the deer get in.

Isn't nature amazing? Here we think the pandemic is everything, and the roses are there, blooming away, to remind us that our human problems aren't all the important in the grand scheme of things. The birds chirping keep reminding me of that each morning. Humbling in the best possible way. xx

Pretty you and flowers! I too need to exercise in the morning before the day gets away from me. The daffodils are up in my neighborhood and they make me smile on my walks.
