I think they're kind of a hybrid between the two boots I mentioned in this recent thread http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-and-boots. They're really comfortable and wide enough without being too loose around the ankle and lower leg.
I bought them to have a pair of (not as sporty looking) boots to wear with my skirts and I really like the way they look here. Do you think the heigth looks okay on my leg? I can also tuck slim legged jeans into them, in fact I have a pair of black slim straight legs on order to replace my worn out black pair. If those work out I'd have an option that wouldn't make me look stumpy. I was able to tuck my blue straight legs into them, but I thought that made my legs look a bit short. They are slim enough to wear under bootcuts in any case.
I'm going to keep them, unless you see something I don't?
