Janet, sometimes a piece just hits right, you know? I usually spend a lot of time browsing and comparing sustainable retailers and planning before any purchase, but this was just from Anthro (which isn't even close to a sustainable retailer) and I neeeeeeeded it. Hopefully, I'll love it and wear it into the ground and that will be sustainable enough.
Joy, I think it will fill a role similar to the one my Johnny Was duster played in Colorado. I still love that piece, but it's so rarely cool enough for it here.
Thank you, Irina! I'm looking forward to a hair appointment, but it's handling 18 months without a cut surprisingly well.
Gillian Pearl, here's how I did the winter capsule. Spring will be a bit different, though, because I plan to include all my essentials by default and just define the statements.
JAileen, that's funny! When my husband and I were in the Netherlands for Koninginnedag many, many years ago, he had to explain to me why everyone was wearing orange instead of the colors of the Dutch flag.
Angie, thank you! Alas, I haven't been to the beach in MONTHS. We just can't bring ourselves to go on cold winter mornings.
Brooklyn, that's so true! I love pattern and interesting textiles and it sometimes feels like tops are the default place for those things, but there are other options that work better for some of us!
