HAHAHAHAH. Got you

Theoretically, it's a longer midi with a high-low hemline, although it's described as a maxi.

It's three inches longer on me than on the model, and the sleeves are much shorter in person. It fits really well - a little roomy, but completely workable and no alteration needed. You can still see my lower calves, and the bottom two tiers have not been lined. Very clever design that makes ALL the difference. No "uni-leg-syndrome" which is casual maxi dress poison eye to me unfortunately - I wish it wasn't, but you can't help your poison eye sometimes.

100% bra-friendly too.

I eventually bought the navy although the white was gorgeous. I would not have bought the dress in black. It's tailored, VERY pretty, casual, covered yet alluring, polished, and quite dramatic. It's also not going to date. I'll wear it with white flats or sneakers, and one of my denim jackets if I need a topper. I LOVE eyelet and lace. This feels sooo right.

It's raining dresses for me, and I'm milking it. I got 50% off the brand new Spring/Summer 2018 item because I have a BR card - bonus. Go check the dress out. It cannot be hemmed, but comes in petites.

ETA: I can see it with a black moto and hard edged black footwear too - for those who want to tame the pretty and toughen the look. I'm sticking to soft, crisp and pretty.
