Thank you! We're home. Her issues remain but going to ER seemed to have reduced her anxiety a bit. I just don't know what to do with either of my parents anymore--so many doctors appointments and to still feel crappy is pretty depressing... Contractor started last week to make my mom's bathroom more accessible and we're adding a room to the house for my dad - @93 he won't be living on his own for much longer. DH is going to split time between here and AZ so he doesn't lose his mind. Anywho, on to the boots.
Thanks for the replies--it's so helpful to hear your analyses. I'll tell you mine--I was drawn to the dark brown and still am. After looking at the cool toned patterns on my black dresses, I thought that the mushroom/taupe color would work better. It skews a little purple in certain light. It also would also sort of bookend my face and sort of work as a nude. At least I think so. I did a quick try on the other day and thought it worked...but maybe I'll post some pics before I cut the tags, so to speak. As for the other colors, the olive looks a little muddy to me - all though, that could be a good thing. I certainly don't need them but I'm considering them a mental health gift to myself. Thanks for letting me ramble!!
@Irina - Haha. thanks for your honesty! I haven't seen much of this style around lately. Last time I had a slouchy pair like this was in the 90s? I am fond of this look though!
ETA: just back from ER so quick photo—heavy black boots (Frye,) is what I’m trying to get away from. Do you think mushroom works here?
