One week ago yesterday, I was looking for ideas for a Christmas Holiday. One week ago today I had a dental appointment. On my way home, and almost home, a driver ran a red light, caused a collision and totaled my car. Other driver stated she was looking at her gps and didn't notice red light. I am thankful I wasn't killed or injured more than I am.

I will still be watching and reading YLF but probably not as much as I had been. At this point and time I won't be posting any more comments pertaining to the accident. YLF has always been a fun place for me and I want that to continue.

Monday of this week, I went with a group of probably 16 to 20 people to West Jefferson, North Carolina for a fall foliage trip. We had lunch there, visited a cheese factory, where I bought North Carolina gouda cheese, it was delicious. Then we visited two old and notable churches, which was very pleasant and serene. It rained all the way there and back and we had very high and strong wind, but in spite of the what could have been better weather everyone had a great trip and all of us enjoyed it. The bus driver was excellent, driving in such stressful weather conditions, but he remained calm, pleasant and in complete control.

Now, the last chapter of this saga. When we got home around 6:00pm, it was obvious what had been happening here, tree limbs, fallen trees, etc and electric off in most all of the town. The electric in my part of town was restored today around 3:00 pm. (3 days and nights with no electricity.) I did walk to a nearby location where I have access to a computer (and they had electric) a couple of times.

BTW I did have compliments on what I was wearing at the dentist' office and in the emergency room after the accident (including that I looked cute). I will take that anytime. LOL Dark wash denim jeans, a orange and berry striped long sleeve, mock turtle neck tee, and an orange shrunken, denim jacket, and my two tone, denim sneaks, with hot pink laces, rose gold bracelets.

Thanks to all you wonderful jewels who humor me.
