How did I miss this fantastic thread? It has been incredible reading everyone's comments!
@Jayne, I am SO over the sexy thing. I can't even tell you.
Concentrating just on *feeling* here:
I think I want to feel a little bit luxurious in my clothes. And I'm not sure at all that I want to *look* luxurious. I'm talking tactile, the physical feeling as opposed to emotional feeling. So natural fabrics mostly--but not burlap, lol.
Neat. When my jeans and belt are sliding down my hips and my shirt is coming untucked I don't like that feeling.
Smooth. I don't like lumps or bumps or layers riding up. My hair is growing out and does not look smooth right now. It's driving me insane! I guess neat and smooth have a lot of overlap.
Feminine. Okay, I'll say it. I don't want to look sexy (like I even could!) but I like it when my clothing shows my shape, but not necessarily a lot of skin.
Unrestrained. While I want my *look* to be a bit refined or restrained, I want to have a full range of motion and be able to bend, stoop, reach and stride freely.
Comfortable. While looking comfortable is the unpardonable fashion sin, I want to feel comfortable in my skin, with my look and with my clothing items. Warm enough, cool enough, nothing scratchy and no nasty fabrics making me sweat when I'm not even hot.
Great thread Una!
