And what percentage of the time are you wearing either? I know some of us have a lot of 'at home' time (SAHM and work from home ladies) and if we only wear lounge wear it can be a downward spiral. I know some are office dwellers and wear heels and pencil skirts and can't wait to tear it off and get on the 'comfy' clothes once they get in the door.
I'm wondering what % of your wardrobe reflects what % you spend in either attire. For instance, I have mostly casual, but meant to 'go see the world' casual, not fleece and yoga pants. But I do wear my casual stuff just sitting around with the cat nine times out of ten. I rarely just sit in my PJ's or sweats (I only own 1 pair). I wonder if I were an office gal if I would be much more likely to go for loungewear in my downtime?
I also enjoy dressing up a few times a month to go out to eat or hear music or whatever. Again, since work does not require dressy clothes, I wonder if I relish this more than I would if I were in hose or constrictive clothing 9 to 5.
I guess my at home look is pretty much in line with my average going out look, minus the shoes and jewelry. There are of course lazy Sundays that are modal lounge pants and slippers, but mostly I would wear much the same thing kicking it at home as I would heading out to the grocery store or getting a quick bite at a low key place. Obviously, fancier occasion would not be the same stuff I'd lie about the house in.
How about you? Do you spend at home time in total lounge wear? If so, do you pay the same amount of attention to it as you do your 'out in the world' look?
