Well, I ordered a couple of houndstooth sweater vests that I found online to compare to the one at the NAS. I like the vibe of the sweater but couldn’t help but think it would work better for me if the hem and other edges were black instead of white or cream.
The black vest is a different knit fabrication — feels more like a cotton knit than the BP vest (they are both acrylic blends). It is also vented at the hem, which makes it fall better without catching on my hips. The armholes are not as deep, but that’s not really a problem.
I think the black version is a little more flattering on my shape and plays a little better with my fall/winter style. I also like that the white in that pattern is white, and not cream.
What do you think? Pics with three different tops underneath for comparison.
PS I got my hair cut today too! That’s why it looks so straight. Haha! I can never get it that straight myself.
