I'm so well aware how late I am with this but wanted to offer more than my usually prosaic comments. We have had a nice holiday period full of celebrations with family and friends, 2 theatre shows, a wine tasting and a gourmet dinner for DH's 50 th.

So here are some visuals, too.

1. New Year's Eve by friends house (sequin skirt, metallic grey knitted top and metallic silver drop earings(I always wear studs, drop earings are a new look for me)
2-4.Theater outfit (H&M pleated midi skirt, western heel cut out ankle booties, sequin sweater, long pendant on a cord, silver amorphous shaped cuff, snakeskin textured patent clutch, winter coat and dubtle shine on the big dotted pashmina)
5-6. DD and DH (at the theater). DD is dressed in a shear chiffon long to knee button down and a coated jeggins, and boots with some lace details.
7-10 Xmass eve. I wore one of my new Zara 3/8 sleeve rubberized front print tunics over a velvet leggings.
12.Xmass lunch at my Bother's house. This is not a good pictie as was shooting it while dressing, so pls.excuse my hair which was not yet washed and styled. And actually wore this with same pointy toe low heel booties like the theater outfit and another big fringed drop earings in vintage pink to match my peplum jacket. The jacket came off early so the earings were really the center piece of my outfit during all our stay. The pencil was actualy an easy tube (black with some burgundy, white and vintage pink pattern), the top under the jacket was H&M halbarm boatneck knit with a very very subtle black lurex shine).

12-14. Winetasting: grey 7/8 tweed pants, H&M burgundy ribbed dolman sweater (bought this in several colors), Zara burgundy patent block heel boots, big collared short puffer, guitar strap cross body bag. Statement pendant on a rubber cord.
15. Visiting family. (fluffy pink cowl neck and a green splitted on front side and wrapped floral pencil) knee high flat riding leather boots.
16-25 are some of my work outfits in the New Year.
26-30 are other ways I wore my nem H&M geometric pattern pleated midi skirt and the vintage pink peplum jacket (hands me down from my SIL).
Excuse me the lack of details (from 16-30) but thought my post was already way too long and overwhelming:-((---still, I just couldn't stop posting:-)).
Thank you for reaching so far and taking the time for comments, i always learn something from them!
