I was invited to a beautiful, lovingly prepared tea party with some family & friends at a private home-it was delicious and gorgeously decorated. I heard that the setting was likely to be sparkly, so I opted to pair this sparkly, feathered, eyelash knit and bubble sleeves deep blue and black sweater with a faux-wrap knit and pleather skirt, comfortable black pumps, and a knotted strand of chunky black beads under my new green wool coat.
I did NOT overwhelm the decor. Far from it! I felt like I was in a private, cozy tea room or restaurant, and the tea and food were delicious.
