I picked up a couple items to play around with for holiday wear. Thoughts? Neither the skirt nor the faux fur are currently in my wardrobe and tags are still on. Everything else was pulled from my closet. I think I would be able to easily mix in the skirt to more casual outfits. Less so on the fur, unless any of you have ideas. Both were very (as in under $20) inexpensive, but I do prefer to wear my clothes as much as possible.

(Not super-urgent. I forget to change it EVERY TIME when I use the app. Hopeless.)

The skirt is lovely. But may I say it does not compare to that black dress I saw in on another post? That dress was a show stopper. This skirt is not in the same category. I respect that fact you want to wear something different, but ...... I would find a way to wear that dress.

I am a big fan of these faux fur things. I intend to get one soon.

I actually like #2. The v neck and how the top sits on the waist and the texture of the skirt. You seem tall and to my eye it looks nicely pulled together and has interest.

Jenn, #1 has a very retro feel which I find attractive and think would come across as a statement look for the holidays. I wonder if the fur could be used as an outerwear "scarf" for cold weather. If not, it just might keep your neck warm indoors....

I vote keeping the skirt and the fur. The skirt with the v neck top in 2 makes a great outfit. I think the skirt could work with many things. It would add interest to a variety of plain tops.

I like the skirt. I think 1 looks dressier than 2, in part due to the necklace. I can see it potentially working with your lace up boots, sweater and tights later on too.

delurked, my thoughts on dressing down were quite similar. I do have a pearl necklace on in #2...it's just tough to see in the pic, as it's close to my skin tone. However, #1 is dressier than #2, as the top in #1 is silk and #2 is a cotton jersey.

Love the skirt - and I'm positive you would find fun and funky ways to wear it in addition to being an option for festive wear!

I could see the fur with a denim jacket too, or a leather one...

Love the skirt. Can see you pop out for a quick hike with a tucked tee+denim jacket+leather sneaks (being serious) I also quite like the idea of a faux fur with the LBD. If we're talking future versatility my hunch is you'd get more wear out of the scarf.

I like the skirt. I find those kinds of skirts quite useful in winter with cozy knitwear and boots.

The tippet looks cute, but that's not the most important quality with faux fur. It has to feel sumptuous too. I think you can carry a richer colour there too.

Hands down. I love the way you tucked and bloussoned the blouse.

You can wear the skirt with a tee + denim jacket + Converse too.

I vote return the faux fur scarf. Shape is off.

I'm not sure the scarf adds anything to the LBD.

I LOVE the skirt and necklace together in #1, and I think that top has a nicer neckline than the one in #2.

And yeah -- I bet you'll get more mileage out of the skirt than the fur...

Love #1. It's a very pretty skirt. Like others have mentioned it can be dressed town with a tee and denim jacket. Maybe even a little black leather jacket.

I like those faux fur scarfs......but maybe something a bit more lux. I have a black one that I like to throw on over a leather jacket or with a coat.

#1 is gorgeous! Love everything about it. #2 is nice as well, but I really prefer the blouse in #1.

What a 'mature' version of the ballerina tulle skirt! (#1). I don't mean 'mature' as in 'old' but rather 'finished' and weighted with quality. Do KEEP this garment!

Oh runcarla, I wish I could say it was a quality piece, but I got it at Target and it’s 100% polyester. I do think it’s pretty without being twee, though.

Angie, I can absolutely see wearing it with Converse. And yes, Aida, maybe not a hike, but a nature walk, for sure.

Really like the skirt and outfit #1. I got a fur scarf a couple of years ago and never wore it. It just doesn't stay put. i hope that you have better luck with yours if you keep it.

Nice skirt! I like the wrap top in #2 - more flattering shape, I think. You could try it tucked.

Love the skirt. Great find. I can see it being very versatile. I do like the wrap top with it but I can`t see the texture of the tops. I like the faux fur thing but I prefer to see you in a richer colour.

Impossible to choose, but if you want something new I vote nr. 1. I like everything - necklace, tank, skirt, hairdo.

Skirt and stylings in nr 1&2 are gorgeous, worth every penny esp. 20$! Faux fur a bit strange, thus to the dress. I have a similar in black purchased once for dressy, but did not work that well for me, a bit fussy, and incomplete-but did you try to add to the outfit in nr1&2 (but like a wrap (from back to front below your shoulders, edges hanging fron your lower arms), color seem to work quite well, with the underlayer of the mesh skirt.

#1 and #2 are winners! The skirt is beautiful and I like Aida's suggestions on dressing it down. I like the idea of faux fur and the dress in #3, but I would listen to Angie re fit.
