Help me decide between 2 boots

I need a pair of cognac boots and have narrow it down to two pair. The Corso Como "Randy" Boot.

I really like the Frye Rory Scrunch Boot but the heel is too high. I picked the 2 boots because of the low heel & they are not too tall for my height 5 2". Thanks

I would go with the Fryes as the shaft height is half an inch shorter plus I love the bordeaux colour.

Are you sure that a 15 inch shaft height isn't too tall? I'm 5'3 and can't wear boots that high.

I like the Corso Como in the whiskey color- it will feel nice and light for spring, but be wearable all winter.

Echoing what Megan just said. I'm 5'3" and 15" is too high for me. I'm going to go measure mine but I think you're going to need something around 13.5".

Kelly I would love to find some boots in the cognac color about 14 in height with a low heel 1-1 1/2. but have not had muck luck any help would be appreciated. I would like to wear them with leggings, jeans and dresses. Thanks for your help. If anybody has some they like I would love to know.

Renee, it can't hurt to try these boots on. According to Zappos, the Frye shaft measurement is based on a size 6.5. If your foot is smaller, the shaft could be a little shorter. My cognac boots, White Mountain Mercy, are 14" and they are the perfect height.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you!

I vote Corso Como. I like the sleekness and the color would work in spring or fall.

Thanks Kelly I like those. I looked at the other pair I think the White mountain you have and they only had them in black. I will call Nordstroms because the SL is looking for me a pair with a low heel and around a 14 height. Did you see the boots that AJ had on with her green Military jacket?

AJ's boots are adorable. The color she has is perfect too. I thought you were looking for more of a riding boot so I didn't consider slouchy ones. Will you be trying AJ's? I hope you post pics!

Those Corso Como's are beautiful, I saw them yesterday. They are very sleek and unadorned looking. Different in feel than the Frye's which are nice too. I think it depends on what you are looking for and how they each fit.

I have the same problem with boots being too high on my short legs. I'll keep an eye out for cognac boots, too. (You don't need a wide calf, right?) I'm in love with these from Miz Mooze (Nordies has limited sizes, but they might be elsewhere.)

I like the Corso Comos. The color is divine and the sleek, unadorned shape is fabulous.

Just to complicate things, I will toss in that I'm 5'2" and boots have to be about 16" before they're intruding on my knees, so calf length may not be perfectly correlated with height.
