I need recommendations! I commonly wear regular Dr. Scholl's foam inserts in lots of my shoes, year 'round. They help take up empty space in shoes, keeping me from slipping around, and add some cushioning. They work in flats and heels alike. Totally flat, between 1/8" and 1/4".

But I have trouble in winter when I wear hose and tights with heels. The surface of these inserts is satin, and my feet slip downhill in tights! It almost negates the purpose of having an insert, since it messes up the fit and jams my toes against the shoe.

I like Pedag inserts, but most of their regular inserts seem to have a smooth leather surface. That's almost as slippery as the satin. And they're more expensive.

I just need a little grip, like suede or some kind of synthetic or non-satin fabric. Gel is a bit excessively sticky, and they also tend to have a lot more "design" to them. I'm looking for a pretty basic insert - no arch support or heel contouring and minimal thickness.
