Ok, I actually like this better on me than I expected, but I think alteration would be in order.

First of all, it's light and comfortable and feels awesome on. I feel good in it. It's a little sporty, and a little sexy, which I like. It feels very me, and it's unlike any other dress I've ever owned. I even love the length. But I want to be sure I'm seeing this as JFE as it is, and not through some wishful thinking lens.

Please excuse the weird facial expressions and post-bike ride lack of makeup. At least I was showered and had dried my hair.

Now, about the photos: the first pic is straight out of the package -- this is how it hangs naturally. It fits well across the hips, but there is a lot of room through the body and the back, which is my most common cause for having things altered. In pic 2 you can see how much volume there is by my holding my hand on my hip. Pic 3 -- side view as is, and pic 4 with me grabbing a bit of excess fabric from the back.

In pic 5, I've folded a little bit of the shoulder underneath and used a binder clip on the back of the dress, just to get an idea how it would look with a bit of taking in at the top. Obviously a binder clip only does so much, but I think it gives an idea.

So, what do you think of this? I want honest feedback because even though it's on a good sale, it's not exactly cheap, and I only want to add a dress to my wardrobe at this point if it's really great.

Thanks in advance!
