Thank you ladies! I feel better about posing my backlogged outfits now, I was a little worried about the spam. Will work on getting those up soon!
Brenda, good to hear! I have noticed a bit more urban-ness creeping into your Pinterest outfit inspiration board. Looking forward to seeing how that manifests
Denise and Julie, thanks for the pointers on the moniker threads! They were a really fun read, my goodness you all had quite the brilliant brain storming session. Personally, I identify most with Denise's description "Bi-coastal Urban with one foot in 80s NYC and the other in 70s California" with a healthy dose of punk thrown in there, but I certainly seem to come away looking far more polished and less rocker than you Denise! That is one of my primary style goals for the year actually, get my rocker influences more visible to my style.
Denise, hope you have been enjoying the time off. I am sure there's always plenty to keep busy with! Your recent meetup must have been a blast
Claire, it's been unusually cold down there right? I was in San Diego a couple weeks ago and it was in the 40s, SOOOO cold feeling. I heard AZ was down in the 30s??
Nancy, aww that's sweet! Are you thinking of doing an inverted/angled bob? Let me know if you want any close-ups of my various short cuts I've had the past several months.
Sarah, that's some great style insight, and quite the swing. I must say I've always seen a good dose of whimsy, boho, and arty in your style as opposed to a pure Modern Classic. Looking forward to seeing where this style shift takes you!
Julie, WOW those boots are too fun!! High fives for stepping out of your comfort zone, and I can't wait to see your OTK boots when they find you! As for a descriptor, waaaay back when I had come up with "urban/punk, euro-chic, 70s vintage" and plan to stick to that
Kelly, you made that incredible poncho!?? Such skills lady! I do not knit, but if I did I would totally want to make one of those. I have really enjoyed seeing your knitting projects this year.
