Hectic pattern mix

I tried to wear my Love sandals for the first time this Spring in the past week. Have worn them twice in past 2 days. I had bought this top in 2022 to help me use them and also the yellow loafers which have now reached 51 wears. The sandals are still lagging as really difficult to reach around the outside of the ankle and see well enough to do the buckle up.
I think the floral bomber pattern mix for warmth today may have been a bit much!

Oh, man--I love those sandals, and I am glad you are wearing them. They have a very "In Living Color" vibe--the American show from the early 90s. Would love to see more references to that style--like a chunky gold necklace, or an African print something.

This style of top is really good on you Jenni! I think it is the positioning of the waist. I LOVE the sandals. The pattern mix is quite hectic but not too much, it actually does work. You look interesting, like you have a lot to say

I love the sandals and I agree that the top is a really wonderful fit. Fun outfit. I prefer it without the bomber but I would wear it with the bomber too.

I took the bomber on and off at work all day- there was a cold wind popping to the cafe next door at lunch.
Yesterday I wore a plain black jacket to take wee granddaughter to dance class. Less hectic!

I like the pattern mix here, yes with the bomber it’s a bold pattern mix but that’s because that bomber is a bold piece! I like a bold look with lots of colors so this works to my eye. But this outfit would be fine with a solid color jacket too if you’re in a less bold mood that day.

I’d love to see the bomber with a column of color sometime, or even a column of black or white (since you’re heading into warmer months). That bomber is a very pretty piece.

Those sandals are wonderful, so many fun colors in them! Too bad they aren’t easier to get on and off so you can wear them more often.

Lovely top, its a bit flowy and has nice waist definition. I think the pattern mix works fine, but it would also work well with any topper that’s a solid colour from your top. Shame the sandals are a hassle to buckle up, they are such a unique fun footwear option.

I think your outfit isn’t too hectic. Although you have pattern on pattern, the colors harmonize. But the sandals make the outfit. It’s too bad they’re difficult to put on. I hope they’re comfortable.

This outfit is a winner in my book, Jenni! I love the proportions of that top and pants--it's so flattering. The hectic pattern mix with the jacket added is fantastic, and I agree with JAileen that the sandals really make the look.
