I'm looking for a mushroom sweater and this color looks perfect. Has anyone tried this one from Gap? I also like this BR one but think the neckline is going to be too much for me (too fussy for my short neck.)

I didn't try it on, but felt it in the store and it was veraa, verra nice... the neckline does look less fussy, to me

I love the cashmere one I got at everlane but I don't see it any more in mushroom. The price was nice too.

And here's a cool asymmetrical one...

Una and I both bought and returned a different GAP sweater in mushroom. It was oversized and quite heavy because it was cotton. I decided it just didn't look good on me and I worried it would stretch out.

Thanks, Viva and Suz! I tried one on last year that was very similar to the one Una ordered and it was just too boxy on me. I think part of it was the length. I like this shorter style especially to semi-tuck. May just have to order it and see. Love the Bloomie's one but wanted something more basic.

I have the BR one and quite like it. I have a very average neck - and don't find it too high at all. I've worn it zipped, and with one side slightly unzipped. I've worn it 2-3 times and it's held it's shape nicely.

That's good to know, Lisa. I loved it on you! I would have thought you had a long neck since it looked so smashing. I may just give it a try since it is on sale. Did you get a regular? I read the sleeves are very long. I may have to try petite.

I did return the Gap one - the S was too baggy and the XS was not slouchy enough. Sigh. Will keep eyes open as I've seen a few while browsing. Love the Aqua cashmere hem!

Yes, a regular size for sure. S or M - can't remember and it's not nearby. I found I've had to size up at BR lately - and I have a feeling I bought a M. Don't recall sleeves being any longer than usual.
