I don’t think I’ve ever pulled the magic plastic from my wallet so fast in my life! DH and I ended up at Queenie’s for a treat (take-away, and enjoyed on a park bench) per our usual walk routine. Two doors up is a fabulous little independent shoe store that specializes in comfort shoes (and where I get my Joseph Seibel sneakers and Smart Wool socks) which DH wanted to visit, since he needs new winter boots. Just inside the door was display #1.
The red boots #2 (which match my wallet) came home with me. The pile lining is wool, and they are supposed to be waterproof. They are light weight! Comfortable out of the box, accommodate my bunions with room for inserts - but I will wear them around the house for a while to further test them. The brand name is ‘bulle’ and they are made in Portugal.

Oh! I tried on the teal first, but they didn’t come in my size. The SA volunteered that she bought the teal! I see teal and yellow at the bulle.ca website, as well as red and more conventional colours.
