Getting to kick off your birthday thread while Angie and Greg are in Hong Kong is a real pleasure.

You’ve been with us for almost six years now, and will forever be true YLF royalty. We know these last few years have been extremely difficult and emotionally taxing, and we hope that lighter and happier times lie ahead. We are, of course, always here to support you, and miss you dearly.

You, dear Michelle, are a lady of true grit, with bucketloads of (style) pizzazz and a personal inspiration to me in style and life, and I do so hope we’ll get a chance to meet irl some day. From your emotionally intelligent and intuitive approach to fashion, your highly articulate and clear descriptions of how you decide a certain piece is “the one” for you, your great knack for putting together texture-rich looks, to your compassionate, thoughtful and kind personality, your quiet grace and charm, your positive attitude and warmth that shines through in everything you write, and that dry wit that has had me in stitches many times, you are a treasure to us all.

I also love it that you are always open to suggestions, always eager to try new things, while staying true to your Elegant, Modern Classic style persona. It’s been fun to see that you continue to rock your jewel tones, while at the same time embracing gorgeous tonal looks (that coated jeans outfit with the cape and booties was sublime). And I’m thrilled that you finally found your boyfriend jeans -- those Catherines look beyond amazing on you!
