Claire, I always enjoy your WIWs and your posts and in-depth analysis are always a joy to read. I love your gusto and enthusiasm, and your sense of humour, of course. Your blow-by-blow descriptions of (shopping) expeditions etc. have made my day more than once.

Nancy, I had to nod at what Angie wrote above. I always notice that mischievous glint too, in fact it's one of your trademark "style accessories" in my book. And as I mentioned in your outfit thread today: you really have been on a roll lately, really finding your style groove, and I'm sure your new brilliant short do has quite a lot to do with that.

Bella, I too miss you when you can't be around so much. Your elegant style, glamorous sunglasses and beautiful smile are always a treat. And then there are the absolutely brilliant challenges of course. Always love the creative ideas you come up with!

Claire, oh Claire -- even though I'll never achieve your strict minimalism, I feel we are style sisters. Or at least we are purge sisters, and surely that counts? Please let me belong to your club. It's the best one going. Watching your progress on YLF has been one of the great joys of being on this forum. Hi, everyone. Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I have had a wonderful day so far, and felt stylish and yet in my own skin, thanks to YLF and all you wise, wonderful women.

I wish I could go down the list and thank you all individually...even though I've been an infrequent poster as of late, this group has had and continues to have a major influence on not only my fashion choices, but my general outlook in many areas.

Angie, a million thanks for everything you do for all of us here. It's truly astonishing how much of yourself you (and Greg, of course) give. I can't wait to see you in NYC the next time. But even until then, your wonderful spirit and joie de vivre beam through the laptop screen every I sign on here!

Bella, I am really chuffed (happy in Britspeak) that we share birthdays. You have such killer Eurochic style that takes my breath away. I too wish you were more frequently on here, but I'll take what I can get. I hope to meet you someday, as I've been able to Angie, Claire, and so many other awesome women here. Even in Turkey sometime? I hear they have a very vibrant tango community. : )

Claire, I have wanted to meet you from early on, since I somehow associate YLF with you--you were one of the first posters I came into contact with here, and your posts (stories, really) are writing gems. Then to actually meet you recently was only to confirm the obvious, that you are a wise, thoughtful and lovely person to have memorable conversations with...on the fly, while walking through the mall, apparently. And your style is so stunning. You show us how far you can take "simple" and classic and make it luxe, modern and perfect. Now, please make a trip out east so we can fete you properly in Boston or New York!

Just chiming in here to mention how much fun I had meeting Mochi (and Zapotee) IN PERSON in NYC this summer. They both actually came all the way to Brooklyn because that is where I was staying and they met Mr. Suz, too, and then we women departed for some shopping, which was highly successful for Mochi! Some of the silk shirts and striped tees she has been sporting this autumn were purchased on that day. My afternoon with the two of you was another highlight of my summer (along with the Sveta shopping trip) and I feel very blessed that we have met this way.
