In case you don't know, today is Angie's birthday!!! I am so glad Angie that you were born and that you are in my life. You have transformed not only how I dress but also impacted me in a deep way as a friend and everyday through your forum. I'm starting this thread because I know others feel the same way and will want to join me in wishing you. I wonder what we can do to help Angie celebrate today?

I wish you lots and lots of joy, health and prosperity in the coming year You have been an inspiration for me this past year and literally changed my life by increasing my confidence in myself by helping me change my style quotient through the blog as well as this great forum. Happy Birthday Angie! You are absolutely glowing with the love of life, and for the people around you.
After lunching with you yesterday things keep coming back to me that you said. Just now it came back to me what you said about how the way we feel on inside shows on the outside, and the way we look on the outside affects the way we feel on the inside. I will never forget that. Such advice helps put some of the pieces to the puzzle of life together.
And for all who do not know this, Angie is donating her time on her birthday to Dress for Success! On her birthday! What a fab lady!

Happy birthday Angie! Everyone has probably said my thoughts better than I could, but I would still like to express how much I appreciate you and all the work you do. I started reading your blog more than a year ago, and my wardrobe began to transform. I entered into your world of skinny jeans, pops of color, proper pant lengths, and no tee shirts. I think about you on every shopping trip, and whether or not you would approve of my purchases. You have affected me and many others in such a positive way. I could never thank you enough for all the work you do and for giving me so much confidence.

In the last couple of years I found myself in a bit of a rut, and fashion and style became stressful instead of joyful. Your website inspired and reassured me in so many ways. I started to reexamine not only my wardrobe, but also they way I approach other things in life. Plus I really appreciate the guidelines you provide because they make shopping less stressful. I was also inspired to revisit favorite old things (like tailored silhouettes and red accessories) and try new things (tunics over skinnies).

Well, my job is at school, I guess. I am a full time student (although I'm on summer vacation right now), but I also work in the "Learning Lab" at the local community college tutoring math (students can go there for free and get help with lots of subjects), and I am a TA that runs a study group for specific classes/professors. The last two semesters I've been doing College Algebra, but this semester I'm doing Intro to Psych, which is a little different, but still fun.
