See related thread from last night about whether to cut short or get a trim and grow it longer as a last hurrah leading up to the big 5-0. I think this will grow out rather nicely.
I'm including two back views here. I've had it short like this in the back before, and "two tone" like it is here. I am just kind of shocked by these photos to realize how dark my natural color hair is. I am not sure if that's "just" the lighting. I thought I was going gray.. ? And even if not, in my younger days (20s/30s) my natural color was more red than brown. I suppose it is the contrast.
The outfit: MOTG! For a day that started out rainy and 60s, hit 80 & sunny, then back down to 70s.
jean jacket: LOFT
top: EF linen -- I have a love/hate with this top. It's super comfy/temperature regulating, and I like the asymmetrical hem, but it wrinkles and rumples and I just don't feel quite crisp enough in it. Unless I pop a jean jacket on top for extra structure.
bottom: VC ruched midi tube skirt. I think this skirt, from last year, has spoiled me. I prefer midi's these days.
shoes: wedge cage heels. Earlier in the day I wore the Taos pewter metallic freedom sneaks. Changed into wedge heels for dinner out tonight.
bag: Clarks.
necklace: from some obscure boutique in CA
