From 2006 to 2011 I had long, mid brown hair in loose waves and it worked well with my style of that time. I wore more color, closer fitted clothes and was influenced a bit by boho style. I cut my hair in a bob and had various lengths and types of bobs since. My style direction has changed, too. I wear more minimal outfits, classic with some trends. I try to give some edge to my wardrobe with oversized or architectural garments. I struggle with bob haircuts, they push me more in a classic style than I like. I haven’t had a hair cut in a year, wanted to grow out layers that were cut too deep into my fine hair last time. I’m trying to decide what to do next.

I see that most of the forum members have hair styles that look authentic to their fashion style: bob or pixie for classic, wavy for more feminine clothes or boho inspired, asymmetrical for edgy looks.
Here is my question to you - do you consider style of your clothes when choosing style of your hair? Does it happen organically and you tend to like the same style? Or it based only on the texture of hair, facial features and maintenance requirements?
I don’t take into consideration unusual colors here. My questions are more about cut choices.
