I had my last “lockdown lunch” with my mum today. My state hit its first vaccination target earlier this week (70% of the adult population is now fully vaxxed), which means that stay at home restrictions will be eased next week for the fully vaccinated. We expect to hit 80% in about 2 weeks, and then restrictions will ease further. About 90% of adults in my state have now had their first vax so hopefully we will have over 90% double vaccinated by November. Fingers crossed.

It was a breezy day with a top temperature of about 20C. I find dressing for these sort of days tricky. It’s not warm but not cold either. I settled on a lightweight ribbed cotton jumper, lightweight midaxi skirt, boots and bare legs. I was wearing a teal tank top underneath the jumper should I need to de-layer. It never occurred to me before but ribbed knits are a good way of adding texture to an outfit.

Your thoughts welcome.
