Hello friends,

Inspired by Angie’s post and her Green, Black, and Grey palette, I wanted to put together a similar outfit for the weekend. As I’ve started the "Items Now and Then" challenge, I decided to reuse an old olive-green dress. I bought this dress in Copenhagen—it’s a Danish brand, though I don’t remember which one. It’s from 2016 and has a bomber-jacket style, which was trending at the time.

1-3: "The dress now", styled as a duster with black faux leather pants (Nanushka, bought last year), a cream silk shirt (Aquascutum, 8 years old), a large printed silk scarf (Odeeh, 5 years old), black monk-strap shoes (Tod's, 9 years old), a green metallic bag (Ferragamo, over 10 years old), and old Missoni sunglasses.

4: "The dress back then", worn as a dress with tall black boots (Boss), a yellow silk scarf (Hermès) peeking out, and a black transparent crossbody bag (Mango, I think?). I still have and wear all these items.

5-7: Bonus look - today’s look swaps the dress for a new black cardigan with a green/grey pattern (Marc Cain), paired with another green scarf (Givenchy). I felt polished yet casual and comfortable—still very much me.

So far, after two outfits in the challenge, I notice that there hasn’t been much evolution in my style from “then” to “now.” It feels like I’m just doing my usual thing, which I’m not complaining about—just an observation! I do dress a bit more casually and comfortably, but the change feels subtle.

What do you think? As always, your feedback is much appreciated!
