I like the black with the cinnamon, great color! How about the new comfy shoes and leather pants with that asymmetric top you showed a couple weeks ago. That would still have the drama that works so well for you, but the flowyness moves it away from tomboy. And Puffi is adorable:)

Comfortable ‘Converse’ catches my attention... as does the name of your cat, Puffi

The new sneaks are brilliant, Lisa, and I really do love them with the leather leggings here. That cinnamon top is beautiful as well, amazing with the necklace and your make-up. (Would you consider a global tour, and come do my make-up too, pretty please?-)

I think the outfit looks great - glad you found some perfect shoes. I always wonder how to wear high top shoes - in winter I wear them with knee high wool socks that go with the outfit and rolled up jeans so the sock design/color shows a little and it feels a little "earthy". Not really sure how many other ways to wear mine - scrunched jeans I guess? I think they *could* work with thicker tights and a skirt. You could also wear them with cropped pants and show some ankle, right?

Love the color of the top and make-up too! I mostly just switch out my blush and lipcolor to be more warm caramel or slightly cooler pinks depending on my outfit colors.

These are great shoes! Edgy and comfortable,
I don’t have outfit suggestions but think wearing knits on top work well.

I love the outfit and was admiring the t-shirt and necklace combo on you before I read your introduction. Another thought for pairing with the sneakers: cropped wool trousers, especially if you have some in a mini check or glen plaid pattern.

Agree with Firecracker's suggestion on the cropped wool trousers. Other than that, I don't mind a half-tomboy look at all, so not much help here. Like tomboy bottom, feminine top - that old ying yang thing. I'd wear the high tops, boy jeans, and a silky lady shirt with an extra button undone!
Wholeheartedly agreeing with your assessment of long cardis! They add drama and sophistication and interest that a short sweater lacks. They are a staple in my winter wardrobe! YLFFFFFF!!!!!!

I love the whole outfit. So many interesting textures. The rust coloured top looks great with black. I like that combination. Those are great sneakers. The zipper is genius. I tried on a pair of high tops by Birkenstocks. Maybe I will look for these next to compare.

Puffi is adorable. Faux leather pants would be a good idea with such a nice cat.

I'm smiling at the cropped wool trouser suggestions At first I read/envisioned it as cropped wide leg wool culottes and shuddered . A great Angie and Suz look, but not for me. I shudder to even THINK about how bulky and unflattering those would be on me , especially with sneakers like this. I'm too short for all of that ! But a fine gauge slim wool cropped wool trouser - great idea!

I'm worried though that I've bought a one-trick pony in these hi-tops. So comfortable, but I fear they might not be as versatile as I need them to be. Ugh.

Truly stunning outfit Lisa. Cinnamon loves you! Gorgeous with the necklace. I love the sneakers. I don't usually wear sneakers but if I was going to give them a try and would definitely lemming. Considering it. I love the side zips. I did buy a pair of EF suede without zips and I purged them. Material was too soft and very hard on and off, so these are awesome. I love the outfit. I would either change out the sneakers, but I would pick suede. I don't usually wear leather next to leather. I prefer a change of texture or change the pants. But I really like the outfit as is, but I don't where you are feeling just too much. But visually it works beautifully. With my leather leggings or waxed denim I just use suede and I'm happy. But everything gorgeous. I hope you really enjoyed wearing this!! BTW, I just read above note. Why not with everything, including dresses, tunics etc? Go to pinterest and google outfits, I would put them with everything.

gryffin - you have such great ideas, thank you And you made a great point: it could be the leather against leather that bugged me. Suede sneakers would be a lot more luxurious in this case. I do have suede leggings though I'll be off to pinterest shortly to see what I can come up with !

Gorgeous outfit and makeup. The make up challenged among us need you to do a tutorial on how to warm up a cool complexion for these lovely earth tones - it never occurred to me that one could do this, but you do it well!

Thanks Karen - it's not hard to do !
