At 30% off, I pounced on the "pearl" version of the Aquatalia Selini high shaft bootie. And they were still not cheap!
Is Aquatalia cheaper in Canada? Their prices have gone up in the US.
That said, cream and white shoes are wardrobe essentials for my style. I will wear them all the time - with everything! And they are weatherproof for Seattle rain. Good, that!
They are PERFECT for my low volume, narrow feet and ankles. Neat and tidy, polished, refined, super soft, on the dressier side, versatile, and with my favourite snip-toe (which is a pointy square-toe). Very comfy even with still healing fractured baby toe. I sized up half a size to get more length in the toes. I have LONG toes that need room
I love the shape of the heel. It comes in, but it's still quite blocky. Feels fresh for my style! I'm surprised I can wear heels this high. I usually need a less high low heel.
The Aquatalia's are made in Italy. These are the third pair of shoes I've bought this year that are made in Italy and working well for these high maintenance feet of mine. Shoes made in Portugal, Austria and Brazil seem to work well too. Something about their last works for the shape of my feet. I'm making a mental note.
Popped them on to test with my very casual WFH outfit of cream cords and cashmere jumper.
In case they might work for you too! xo
