Thank you sooooo much, everyone!
So I'm a bit frustrated. The interview went VERY well. Ironically, the first thing they said to me when I walked in was: "Wow, you're so dressed up" (the man interviewing me) and "I love your outfit! You look so cute!" (the woman interviewing me). So thank you so much for helping me with my outfit, it obviously paid off. I wore my black suit, citron studded top, and gold flats. I had my hair freshly highlighted and cut. I felt great.
The interview was basically them talking to me about the job, telling me about what my duties would be, etc. They even told me my hours, what they would be paying me, and when I would be starting (May 17). Sounds great, right? Here's the kicker: Then they told me they wouldn't be able to give me an official job offer until April because it has to go through their Los Angeles headquarters and the season doesn't start until May...
So I'm playing the waiting game AGAIN. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the job, but I have to wait until APRIL! And, who knows, maybe I won't even get the job. It sounds extremely promising though. But again, nothing is for sure. So I am frustrated beyond belief right now.
I spent a couple hours at the Michigan Ave Nordstrom after my interview because I was so bummed and shopping makes me feel better. Michelle texted me while I was there and luckily I was able to pick up the turquoise necklace in the YLF store for her. So that's good. I also have a pair of ponte knit Michael Kors pants and a black ponte knit MK pencil skirt on hold for me (and not from the plus size department! The regular size fit me in these items!) I know I shouldn't buy these items, but I want them... so we'll see how I feel tomorrow. I'm an emotional shopper!
So that's that. No news, really. We have to wait until April... but I am very hopeful and my gut feeling is that I WILL get the job.
