I won't repeat all the congratulations and reassurances I said already on the phone, but... HOLY CRAP, regular sizes???? Sooooo impressed! That was really, really fast. Go buy that stuff if only to celebrate this huge milestone! I wish I was there too, but alas I think I have several months before I get there.

Eh, I think Michael Kors runs large. I was trying on pencil skirts in the plus-size department and even the 14s looked dowdy and matronly, so I decided to venture into the regular-sizes and the size 16s fit beautifully... it was a nice surprise. But it is ponte knit material, which is probably super forgiving... so believe me, there is not much to celebrate!

I'm still way too fat for most regular size stuff. These items must be cut super large!

Ah. Blonde moment. Got it, citron ruched sleeve top twin. Btw, MK runs pretty true to size!

Michelle, you crack me up. Hope you love your new blue necklace.

I've got everything crossed for you on the job front and YAY on the regular sizing woohoo x

I'm late here but I'm sending you tons of support. Waiting is frustrating (even having my name doesn't help ;)) In the meantime, maybe something even better will come up. Congratulations on the regular sizes too! Wow, I haven't been following the forum as much but it just seems like yesterday that you got started. I think this all bodes well for everything just falling into place for you-- keep that attitude.

Ugh, no no no, Marianna! Don't chip away at your weight loss success by thinking that MK runs large or some silliness. You did not "cheat" your way into the regular section...Yes, knits are more forgiving, but that's okay for now - take this small success and own it - you are doing great!

Marianna- it sounds like you really do have the job, and the rest is just a formality. The larger a company is, the more hoops there are to jump through, it seems. My husband went through the same thing. They couldn't offer him the job until it made it's way all the way up the ladder with no objections.
CONGRATS to you for getting into regular sizes! That is no small feat, and don't talk yourself out of the pride you should be feeling. It's a great benchmark, and you should for sure buy something in new sizes whenever they fit.

I'm late too, but wanted to tell you I'm keeping my fingers X'd. Congrats on the continued weight loss, you look great!

I'm late to the party too - but that's what it sounds like you should be having and you have two reasons, double the fun!

Congratulations, you should be very proud of yourself!

Congrats on a great interview and for looking fab! I loved the different reactions of your male and female interviewers... so typical

It sounds like you are feeling very confident! I'm so happy for you. Keep us posted!

Marianna, wow, I totally missed all of this about your interview! I'm glad to hear that it went well and am crossing my fingers that everything will come through as promised. In the meantime, I hope you will keep looking for other opportunities - you never know what else might pop up!

P.S. - I used to be a huge tv court show junkie!

Thanks again everyone! I hope I'll have good news to share in a few months!

Shana, if you're ever in Chicago and want to sit in the audience, let me know. Free tickets! This offer extends to all YLFers!

Marianna, I will have my fingers crossed with high hopes until we know for sure. I'm glad that the interview went well, and it definitely sounds promising!
