Well, here are the results:
The first interview went amazingly. I felt great after. But things went downhill from there. More students started coming, things were very rushed and chaotic. The interviewers didn't really ask any questions. It was just "tell me what you have been doing" and "show me your work." There was a lot of evidence that my lack of web design is a serious issue, which I kind of knew it was, but as yet there isn't anything I can do about it so I just did the best I could without it.
My hopes are pinned on that first interview. The people were really nice and fun and had a lot of positive things to say to me and seemed eager to keep in touch. I just sent them a thank you email and hope they tell me what I want to hear. I am not sure if they were that nice and enthusiastic with everyone or if it was just me. I was the first one they saw though, which may or may not be a good thing. Hopefully it is? Anyway, it would be a fantastic job but I am so used to being let down and surprised (in a bad way) that as hard as I try to be positive, I am still full of doubts.
