Riffing on Helena's menopause post - as this is very much top-of-mind for me right now - here's a question for you :

For those of you who work full time outside of the home, and especially if you live in a climate with snow/ice on the ground for 4-5 months of the year.....how do you get your 7-10k steps in daily ?

I feel overwhelmed with getting that amount of movement - 10,000 steps is at least an hour of walking isn't it? - on a regular work day. I'm considering buying a walking pad - anyone have one ?

Interested to hear how you manage this.
