Just wanted to say I had never heard of or seen a walking pad before. I love the idea. I have a 22 year old Landice treadmill. If it ever breaks beyond repair, I would consider a walking pad. I like the idea of something smaller and more portable now that I’m not running. I’m guessing a treadmill would be best for a serious runner, which I was for many years. My treadmill came with a lifetime warranty and has seen heavy use, logging many marathon training runs in the winter.

Now, when my foot isn’t injured, as it has been, and when the weather is too cold or rainy to walk outside, I typically walk for 15 to 20 mins before work and then again after work. I keep it short, but with two sessions it adds up. I have no clue how many steps I take, but I set the speed to minimum of 15 mins per mile.
