I wasn't going to let my mime-infested day get the better of me here and after getting some AMAZING "Inge-inspired ideas" I was ready to hop on the red-trousered horse again Vicki-style and after heeding YOUR input, here are a few things I came up with today.

I'm happy with many of these stylings and didn't want to let too much time get the best of me for fear of being afraid to "style" my red pants. I'm pleased I stuck with it and I like many of these outfits. Two are a bit in the "possibly-wacky range," but for some reason, I really like them (can you guess which ones?). Okay, I'll tell you...I don't mind the red and pink combination, as weird as it may sound! Imagine that! I still have to "work" with the Vince Camuto geo-print in shoes and topper, but after all this "trying on," my imagination was done! Thanks for taking a look and for those of you who posted on the earlier thread, your input really meant a great deal to help me work with this, process it and move forward! Thank you all.

Love 12-14 but I'm a total fool for a striped top and a trench, and 2 and 17 . These are just my faves.

I think they all work, including the pink...but, maybe with a different scarf? I would like to see the red of the pants picked up again.

Fabulous! *clapping* I love your red jeans project. I'm especially partial to the brown in 3-5 - maybe because that's my favorite combo with my red jeans, I'm not sure. Also love the top in #17!

I really like the brown turtle neck and the first striped shirt, with or without the toppers. I'm unsure about red and pink, but that's just me!

There you GO. J'adore 1, 3, and 11! I really like pink with red - yay for tonal colorblocking. I am with amiable: the camel browns with the red are superb!

Look at you! Right up on that horse again - and riding it in style! How creative is this???? Every single one of these work in my opinion - it just depends on your mood and the event that you are wearing them to (darn, I hate it when I end my sentences with prepositions.)

I'm not sure I can choose a favorite - because I like so many of these. I think my favorites are: 8 (love the sweater), 11 - the pink is so fun - but maybe a different scarf that has pink and red in it and is a little longer? - and the whole series of 12 through 14 - love me some cream with red!

Look at you! My fave is the t-neck sweater because that is a look I covet and cannot wear - you are so svelte and understated cozy glam. I must be the weird loner who has a hard time with stripes, because that just strikes me as too conventional for you, but it is still a great outfit. Huge yay on pink and red from me - so Indian (now just throw in some orange!)...

You are such a fearless trooper and it is so much fun to see your experiments.

Vicki, you are so amazing. There's not a bad apple in the bunch.
I do love the striped top with the trench, but it is the most expected. The fuchsia top is the most UNexpected, and it is great fun!

You've inspired me to try to draw from my closet to find new combinations.

Wow, you took the time to play in your closet and it has paid off!

1) Luv the camel sweater with the denim button down and red pants. Look at those pointy toe red heels to elongate the leg line!

3) The belt and booties add that fun detail to this outfit! The side and back views are FAB. Those pants fit you well. I don't know why, but I think the black jacket is too dark for this look. For some reason, I remember a cream moto, no?

7 & 8) Yes, the black jacket is great with this outfit!

10) I like the fuschia better without the black topper. Maybe if the scarf had some black in it?

14) I like this trench combo with the white/cream booties better. This is such a great transition into spring combo!

15) I have a poison eye for jailbird stripes. (Not from any personal criminal experience, LOL!)

17) Fun blouse! How about the black blazer/moto and red pointy toes with this?

All are totally fab! My favourite tho is #17. Where are the pants from Vicki? They fall beautifully.

How much fun! My favorite is #3 and #7-8. I think it is because these are the simplest, yet very elegant, of the outfits.

This is absolutely brilliant, Vicki!! And good for you for getting back on the red pants horse again immediately;-) This is what Angie means when she tells us not to let our clothes boss us around, *we* are in charge. And my word, you certainly are in charge here!

I love each and every one of these outfits, including the pink with the red: so fab (I like this scarf with it too, the lighter colours accentuate the pink of your top, no need for extra black IMO since you already have black in your blazer and pumps).

All the colour combinations and item combinations work so well, it's a treat to look through all these photos.

You know I'm a huge stripes fan, so it won't surprise you to hear that 12-16 are favourites:-) But honestly, they are all favourites, because you are rocking these red pants, wow!!

Also: yay: you got that VC top, adore it on you!

Gorgeous! I'm in awe. You look fabulous in every. single. one. I adore camel-red, denim +red, leopard+red, but my heart goes to #12-14, as stripes+red+trench is so VERY chic, and you look radiant in it. I love the pink and red, too, and second the suggestion of adding some orange. How fun and inspirational to see this!

My favourites are: 9-11, 14, 15 (what chic!), and 17! Wawawee (=big wow) on that one! What a happy way to transform the look completely and make these red pants yours.

I too have red pants and have found myself stumped as to how to wear them other than with my striped top. This is very inspiring to me.

These are all excellent Vicky, there is not a bad one to my eye. My favorite are:
#3-6, I have never thought of pairing red with camel / leo,
#7-8 is so unexpected too and
# 17 takes the cake, that is so Vicky to me. I also love the striped tops with the pants. You have proven that a red pair of pants can be really versatile. I do have a pair of wideleg red pants, I must save this one for future reference.

I picked up a pair of the Antro pumps yesterday, but I think I got them too big, the top portion that crosses over puffs out a bit. Agrh. I gotta see if they have the sIze down. Does yours do that?

These are fantastic. Combining that red with camel is brilliant,and I love the tonal top &jacket. The stripes were not.my favorite before, but with the khaki it is great. The print totally works. You look wonderful.

Yes, indeed you have made the red britches work for you! These outfits are terrific --- love the red/camel, #14, but also with the stripes. Yes, indeed, I wear my red britches with stripes, and I even added a star scarf. Go big or go home!

Holy cow, these are fab! Who knew that red pants were SO versatile! I can't pick a fave but I am surprised by how much I like the red/pink. I always thought that combo was a "no go" but it looks amazing. Love 2,13, 15 and 17 too. You layer like nobody's business. I would look like the Michelin man! FAB x's 17!

You fell off a red horse, what? You look like you were born in these red trousers! And I can only imagine the amount of work this was, thank you for doing all of these iterations for us. What a gift! I love all of them really. 14, 15 and 17(with the printed blouse) are SO much fun. I guess I'm just kinda conventional, because I love stripes and the trench with it.
