Rachylou -- same thing happens to my DS! His hair is longer than mine, and he hates hats, so he always wears a hood and ends up looking like Cousin It.
Runcarla -- I love those cinnamon-inspired colours! My hair is finally long enough for pigtails, which I do enjoy when I can manage to find *two* hair ties on my way out the door.
Nemosmom -- the fleece is North Face and the pants are Outdoor Research. They are burly pants, wonderfully indestructible.
Bonnie -- thank you! Your walking outfits inspired me to post.
Lisa p -- thanks, I'm a little surprised the colours end up working well together. With gear, it can be such a hodge-podge.
Shevia -- I would be lost without a fleece quarter zip; they are just the right amount of warmth.
Jessikams -- totally! It was when I got hired to lead preschool nature walks and teach at a weekly outdoor school program a few years ago that I started upping my game.
Suntiger -- I *love* toggle coats, and for a long time had one as my primary winter coat, but zippers are so much better at blocking the wind. I'd love a new wool duffle coat for milder around-town days.
Robin F -- I'm not a winter person by nature, so having the right gear makes a big difference in whether or not I'll get outside during the colder months.
Liesbeth -- Those boots are gorgeous and practical!
Janet -- Yes, I'm really enjoying having some days with the flexibility to go out for short jaunts, so good for mental and physical health.
Ledonna -- Kids amaze me! They're totally undaunted by snow and cold. Really keeps us grown-ups on our toes.
Slim cat and Suz -- thank you. The colour combo is a surprise success.
Nikki -- I am *so* looking forward to sneaker season. It feels a long way off...
UmmLila -- I buy a lot of Patagonia, and it tends to last forever... seems to take over more and more of my closet each year. I think scarves and neck gaiters may be my hair-taming solution.
Angie -- Having the right stuff makes such a big difference, and fun colours are a welcome bonus.
