Do they stay up? I am not a big fan of khaki anything but these work, as long as the hems stay put.

Zap, the hems stay put niceley, but I sized WAAAY up. My Gap jeggings are a size 2, and my BF jeans are only a 6! They are super duper tapered, so they would only pull up the leg sized way up like this.

Nay vote, if you are out there, what don't you like?

I tried these on but they looked pretty awful on me. But I like them in 2 and 3 on you, assuming they will stay up scrunched the way you want. In 1 they are doing what I hate about khakis: pulling at the pockets (even when I'm sure they're very loose!).

I actually tried these on yesterday in my size and a size up. I flat out hated the cut of the pockets - j. crew does them too. I'd so much rather just have boy pockets. These made my hips look really funny. I'm not going to vote nay because you look awfully cute, but I did want to point that out.

These look fabulous on you, and there isn't anything about them that I "don't like" (since you were asking specifically). I think they need a belt for anything tucked, semi-tucked or half-tucked - unless you were going to wear untucked tops - but other than this - fab find for you!

I ended up leaving these at the store, because they were not part of the sale, but I think I might order them with the 30% off online. Would these make a better spring pant than the ombre skinnies?

I think this is quite a fresh look Rae and it could be a nice alternative to the skinnies. I have to be honest and say that in general I don't love this style pant, but on you they look amazing:).

Ok Rae - since you asked. I think you look really good in everything and you can pretty much pull any look off the way you put them together. So in the first two shotsI think it works but - for me they could be clamdiggers (sp?) (not a term I even knew before YLF and Im not even sure if we call them that in Australia - Caro/Deborah?) or long shorts with a cinched knee and excess fabric. For me, the best look is with the boots and so I am thinking that they may as well be full length and more versatile. Hey Rae, I hope that was a useful enough nay to make you feel as though you are making an 'on-balance call' but not nay enough to sway you if you already 'lerrrve' them. Allison

Arg, now I wish I had bought them. I waited too long last night, and the sale ended. I actually don't mind the trouser pockets; I think it makes them look more like traditional khakis, and therefore more of a subverted style.
