Love those! Have been stalking a similar pair by COH at work, but they are still too spendy. Mayhaps the Gaps will come down faster.

It's cute! Somehow the slouchy wrinkles add texture and make the look more balanced and interesting than if they were simple capris.

ETA: Viewing it more carefully, I am assuming now that these are just skinny jeans that have been pulled up to the knee? The question is, they stay up on a mannequin, but would that work for the wearer in normal life?

Laura, I have very close to what is poison eye for classic khakis on women. And heaven help us when they are too short on the wearer. But these look very fresh and fun to my eye. I have a feeling your eye might adjust. Think of them as BF jeans made of flat cotton

I've always loved the look of BF khakis - I think ever since I saw Meg Ryan in "You've Got Mail" ; )

I'm not sure I could pull it off, though, although the GAP and JCrew models (and mannequins) look fab.

I do really like this on the mannequin. Not sure how it would work on a real person. I can only imagine pulling on my pants all day. A lovely look for sure!

I'm no fan of khakis, but I think I like this look. Maybe it's the dropped crotch, or the Converse, or the top? I don't know. Something is appealing to me. Like Mochi, I just noticed that they seem to hiked up on the mannequin's leg. Not sure that would work IRL!

I don't have a poison eye for khakis having never worn them (or having forgotten, quite possible) and would try this in an instant.

I think I must have poison eye for khakis too. I used to wear them, but I'm pretty sure I'd feel frumpy if I tried a pair on now -- especially in a cropped length! I see way too many people wearing that look in an "I give up" sort of way.
