Thank you! I quite like the pairing of olive and teal/turquoise.
Jenni, I could see that, even though those shoes are a darker teal. I’m careful with those shoes because they’re suede and have open sides, and we still have puddles from melting snow. But yes, I eyed those shoes yesterday since we are getting back to the wearing season!
This particular sweater is a browner-toned olive than I normally wear, but it reads almost as a cool brown, which works for me too. It feels more like a neutral. As I dressed, I thought of mixing neutrals with the teal jacket rather than choosing all matching neutrals. They all blend rather than match, which is a nice alternative to the way I always used to sweat whether my greys matched or whether I was wearing a brown shoe and a black bag… I think it works and I’m glad you all like it too.
The bag got compliments when I stopped in a local boutique for the first time since last summer. I ended up buying something there — I’ll post separately when I can take photos because I can’t find the item online. I think Angie will love it because it’s Ralph Lauren Polo and has a preppy integrity, but with a twist!
