I hope some of you have tried taking a cue from the Fashion Challenge Calendar this week!
Here's the link if you need a refresher.

This week the cues were 1. Belted scarf/poncho, 2. Print mixing/graphic, 3. Dress and sneakers, 4. Metallic sparkle, 5. No black

My takes on this:
#1 Wednesday: "Dress and sneakers". Black sweater dress, tights, b/w Adidas Gazelle sneakers and ink blue snood scarf. This is casual, but very suitable for my workplace, and I truly loved wearing it.

#2-3: Thursday "Metallic/sparcle". I own excactly one sparkling garment, and none in metallic fabrics at all, so this one was harder. I paired the sparkly top with slim black pants and a cashmere cardigan. To add some more shine, I chose the dressier Chelsea boots with brogue pattern. I liked this outfit, too, but not as much as the previous day's. I think it looks classic, but less modern.

#4-6: Friday "No black". I could easily have chosen grey all over today, but that felt like cheating, so I started with grey trousers, added a cream chunky sweater and a cognac belt. I chose the brown booties and for outerwear I chose the red coat and a red/cream scarf. Finally I added cognac gloves and my brown messenger bag. This outfit feels current, and I really like the mix of casual and dressy.

What's your verdict? Which is your favorite of these? Please share your thoughts.

Thanks for looking! I hope many of you will participate and share your interpretations of the cues, too.
Have a great weekend!
