Happy Friday!

I am new to the all black concept. I normally opt for outrageous color. But to be totally honest, all black is starting to grow on me! Mixing textures adds fun and dimension! I wore this to a Sunday Jazz Brunch.

Here's the rundown:
Hat: Vintage (I've had this for a few years and never thought to turn the brim down- I love it this way!)
Sequins blazer: American Rag, thrifted
Silk shirt: Ralph Lauren, thrifted
Waxed Denim: NYDJ
Shoes: Nine West
Clutch: Vintage

I think I can be a supporter of the all black philosophy (after 15+ years of protest) as long as I can find textural pieces that peek my interest!

Thank you El Cee! Perhaps I'll be a card carrying member soon! LOL No, I think I'll always opt for team color, but it's nice to step over to the 'dark side' every now and again!

One of the many things that I like about this outfit are how the shoes allow a little bit of skin to show. It seems to add a bit of lightness - as well as some structure to the entire outfit.
