I'm on my third attempt this year of finding flat black booties online at a reasonable price, to replace the ones I ditched for scuffing 12 months ago. The first pair I didn't show you, I had ordered 3 pairs of various shoes from Styletread and had to return all 3, none fitted right. Then the Jeffrey Campbells with the studs I showed you. These are a brand Maria Rossi made in Italy but ordered via Australia. Half price then a further 20 % off over Easter. Leather with perforations and a cool fringe which plays into my love for all of 1920s, 1970s and a slightly Western vibe. I'm sure the true Westerners (Texans?) will say I don't really have a Western bone in my body. They also have the low heel I prefer for comfort and the side zip I prefer for convenience. And are pointy which I like but kind of dainty for my small feet. An essential, right there.
Bottom of new olive snakeskin pants shown too, that I wanted since April 2017. Was waiting for 11 months for a sale. Never happened. So I caved and paid full price in March since I love them. After 11 months of thinking about a garment I should own it. Pics 1-5 are today. Pic 6 is the old boots I ditched with trying the snakeskin pants in April last year.
