They look good Jenni. They look quite similar to my flat black booties too! Good basic buy with a little twist that should become a workhorse.

I love the boots Jenni. Streamlined but with that something special. I just wondered if you every wear Ziera shoes? I have two new pairs of ankle boots from them and I am SO happy with them.

Hi Deborah I haven't actually worn Ziera since about 20 years ago when they were still called Kumfs. Before that they were called Mervyn Adams shoes, he was a podiatrist many decades ago and my Mum actually liked and praised up his shoes. They may have a lingering "not cool" association in my head because of that history. (You know, even though I liked some of Mum's vintage items, there's something not quite cool about wearing the same brand of shoes as your Mum?)
However their advertising is certainly cool now and I was in a shop of theirs recently and quite impressed. I'm also a little mean ( tight-fisted that is, not cruel- or not usually! ) and I find them expensive. I'm really pleased for you that a Kiwi brand has been so good and I may give them a future try on your recommendation!
I do always look for something quirky in my shoes I think. I'm not a classic dresser and I have become famous ( in my very limited circle ha ha) for my interesting shoes.

I have only recently discovered them and was keen to know what you thought given you are a Kiwi I did not know that they were orginally Kumfs!! Probably a good thing lol. This season in particular they seem to have really moderned up. I have two pairs of sandals from last season and I have loved them. The comfort level is insane i.e very good Here are my boots.

Good. I think they were always thought to be very comfortable and I am happy they look to have "moderned up"! Great term x

PS the olive snakeskin pants are the Philosophy Australia brand we discussed last year where you know the designer. $179 ouch! Waited in vain for a sale.

Great boots! Interesting but still very versatile. I like the olive pants, too. I don't think I've ever waited that long to try to purchase something.
