Walking the dog, haven't changed from work. Earlier this year, our office went from bus-cas to more casual; while nicer pants and dresser are still ok, jeans are too. When I wear a dress, I often look for ways to de-bombshell it to avoid looking too corporate.

Here I'm wearing a newer forest green sheath dress with a cropped leather peplum jacket, and knee high boots. Under the knee high boots I wore some black socks with some sparkle to close the gap between the hem of my dress and my knees a bit more, also because I'm finding myself short of black tights and leggings didn't feel right with the dress.

I learned today that my hair stylist of about 7 years is moving out of the area soon. I'm so sad! I've only ever had a few stylists cut my hair, and most have been great, so my standards are pretty high. In 2018 I'll have to go through the tough process of finding someone else that I like, and is great with cut, texture, and color.
