Over a year ago, I decided to move away from the eternal black for my accessories such as boots and handbag. So every time, I try to choose a different colour, and especially in tan or camel, since I have blond hair.
Maybe this will sound silly and rookie, but now I find myself with many "tan" items in different shades that don't match. A caramel-coloured hand bag with almost taupish footwear, camel gloves and dark beige scarf... doesn't work! I think it's because from year to year, "tan" items change shade to match the current trends. And I never buy all my accessories all at once.
So when it's time to go out, I really don't have all that much choice left, despite a big pile of accessories that could all be described as tan but are really all different colours.
On the other hand, I don't want to be matchy-matchy and sport the same shade one my feet and hands and head.
Anyone else caught with this? And any ideas how to solve the problem?
Thanks so much!
