I just realized I am a veteran here! it escaped my notice but I am pleased as punch! I owe a lot of thanks to Angie and all of you, for starting me on a style journey that will be a lifelong learning experience.

To celebrate, here's an outfit that may not be earth-shatteringly fashionable, but it made me feel great! I was comfortable, colorful, and I was using an oft-o'erlooked accessory in my Mo-vember challenge. Yes, that's right, it's The Tiny Doll Pin! No, it's not a voodoo doll, it is an innocent little girl made of yarn and material. I got her in German Village in Columbus, Ohio, and she makes me happy. Angie might say she is cheeky, and she'd be right! I think the doll is channeling Angie, as she is wearing a midi skirt.

I'm also happy to show off my new belt. I imagined I would not get to wear it until next spring, since it has kind of a summery, nautical feel. But I like it with this outfit very much. It is a faded red-orange color, and before YLF I would never have thought to pair it with true red. But to my eyes, the tonal symphony they create is quite magical. It just goes to show that I am learning all the time, and the sky's the limit!

Cardigan - Coldwater Creek
Red Top - White Stag
Jeans - Riders
Boots - Diba
Belt - unknown brand from Macy's clearance

In #2 I am dancing a gig (action shot!), and in 3 I am holding my sweater up to shamelessly expose my belt.

Comments welcome. Thanks and have a great weekend, me fabbers!
