For fun - which team are you on this month, Shoptober or OctNOber?

I am on team OctNOber since I blew my wad and then some during September (or for me Shoptember).
I'm awaiting the billing cycle change at the very end of the month to grab my satin blazer I've been eyeing for many weeks now. Not very patiently, I might add!
Those who are not shopping this month, are you spending less time here on the forum to avoid temptations or continuing about your regular schedule and just not letting it influence you?
Wondering which team will have more members?

OctNober. My eldest has the opportunity to travel with school, and it wasn't planned in the budget so it comes from my fun money....so I am online less for less temptations

It's a shoptober for me. I looked at a houndstooth moto today but the sleeves were freakishly long. If I found one with shorter sleeves I'd be buying.

OctNober--once I get my closed toe shoes sorted! My goal is to be SYC until Spring. I'm actually kind of tired of shopping--especially since I have such a hard time making fashion decisions these days. I was contemplating a pair of trousers but the thought of all of the returns makes me think I'll be just fine without them. I think my shopping laziness and extremely casual lifestyle prevents me from getting too excited about forum influence. I guess I'll just have to see how it goes!

I would have said OctNOber, but I just ordered two pairs of pricey shoes. If either works out, I'll be a reverse mullet split team. Shoptober (party) in the front and OctNOber (business) in the back.

Shoptober. Maybe not for clothing, since I will be in China for a good portion of the month. But I am sure I will be buying some little souvenirs and no doubt some lovely silk scarves, at minimum.

I need to be in OctNOber, but if I find the wardrobe hole-fillers I've been looking for (black blazer, anyone?), I may have to, uh, bail on that idea.

OctNOber, with exceptions for certain specific items that would fill wardrobe holes (shoes, basically).

I plan to focus on playing a lot with the clothes I have, and taking lots of photos, and doing WIW posts. That should keep me plenty busy!

Shoptober! I'm heading over to Alderwood with friends in a couple of weeks and hope to find belts and a turquoise pashmina scarf. And I have a Gap knit blazer on back order.... we'll see if that ever shows up.

OctNONONONOber here! I need to completely organize everything I already have, donate what's not needed, then make a list of holes. That will take at LEAST a month. I do know that I need a pair of black moto boots and a leather jacket, but those things will have to be perfect for me to pull the trigger, so they likely won't come up this month (especially since I won't be actively looking).

MaryK I love DECLINEmber! My budget doubled the last half of the year from the first half, so I hear you! (the BF did switch to the good paying job, so it's not an issue, but that job is ending soon, and the bigger budget along with it)
