OctNOber for me. I'm way over budget for the year as well. I'm hoping that doing the seasonal clothing switch out will remind me that I have plenty of great pieces that I haven't worn in a while.

I don't want this to be Shoptober, but it's turning into one, lol! Hope to keep shopping to a minimum, though.

OctNOber for me too, unless you're counting a dollar here or there for thrift stores. Due to budgetary demands, there will be no investment purchases in the foreseeable future. So sad. And yes, I've been avoiding the forum a little (in part) because it's easier when I think about a different subject than fashion 24/7!

I am on team OctNOber. I've only had one month this year with no shopping so far (January) and I'd like to have at least one more month that was shopping free. To prevent myself from slipping I keep reminding myself I can shop again on Black Friday. I should know about any cool weather wardrobe holes by then and you can't beat the sales.

OctNOber for me - because I'm tired of returns and I have some things I already ordered in Shoptember that haven't arrived so I know there will be even more returns. I'm challenging myself to SYC to find new trends that I already own and just haven't styled the right way.
