And I have been obsessed with the allsaints hitched skirts (photo below) forever. AS is not making hitched skirts this season and in any case the ones I've tried haven't fit quite right. So I was wondering whether there's a way I could DIY one of these? What type of skirt would I need to start with? I'm assuming I need something with some fullness, right?

Was thinking about doing it with my Natalie Portman skirt, which is fab but is a lot of skirt for everyday. It's quite full but the fabric is light and unlined. Is this even possible?
