ETA: Flare-legs and vest

Hello all,
Another wiw, today it’s 19 degrees C, casual. I’m experimenting again with my flare leg jeans that I was going to donate but am reviving instead.
I think the outfit pretty much works in with my “vibrant eclectic romance” style moniker. I feel very “me” in it. However when I saw the first photo I realized it wasn’t quite right- so I tied my hair up, and changed to some black pointy toed boots to make a leg lengthening effect. I feel the outfit is a lot better with these two tweaks (picture #4).
Any feedback or critique is welcome.

I like the vest and floral blouse together and paired with your flares. I like how the soft ruffle on your sleeve looks with the angles of the vest. (And personally a fan of a sweet shearling vest....)

Fun juxtaposition! I think more pointy or almond toes would modernize the look. ( Did you change shoes in pic 4?)

I also prefer #4, with the black pointy shoes! I think it looks more modern that #1. And the print of the blouse is wonderful, very delicate and well-made!

Yes I agree with Katerina there is a danish vibe about this outfit,very cool.I agree tying up your hair helps as it’s not now fighting with the lapels of the jacket,good job!

Lovely outfit! I think it looks great with your hair both up and down; I think it's a more boho look with your hair down and a more professional look with your hair up. I have hair that is just long enough to be able to put up, and I am often amazed at what a difference to the overall look the hair makes when up vs. down sometimes.

Are the pants a better length with the boots? A little hard to see in the pics.

Angie: thanks! The length of the pants is slightly better with the boots but still about 2cm too long which is interfering a bit with the line of the flare.... they work best with a higher heeled boot to be honest. But I thought I could fudge it for one day. I’m remembering that’s one reason I was going to donate these pants, because they’re kind of restricted to high heels. I guess I could hem them in order to get more wear out of them....
